
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index experienced declines across all product categories for the second consecutive week in Calendar Week 21.
Prices for Chinese n-type silicon declined 2.5% in CW21, while the other silicon types were flat WoW.
N-Type 210R wafers declined 0.9% WoW, following 2 consecutive weeks of declines for all n-type wafers.
TOPCon 182 mm and TOPCon bifacial 210R cell prices saw identical declines of 1.9% in CW21.
While still up 0.7% YtD, prices for the 210 mm HJT module declined 0.7% WoW in CW21.
Following declines of 2.1% for both listed variants in CW20, 3.2 mm (thicker) solar glass prices were down 2.2%, while the 2.0 mm (thinner) variant was down 1.4% WoW.
As of CW21, only 3 of the 25 products listed on the TaiyangNews PV Price Index are in the green YtD, signifying a clear reversal of the positive trend since the start of CY2025.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
