
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index carried some of its momentum from CW29 into Calendar Week 30, with price increases in 3 of the 5 tracked categories.
After last week’s sharp jump, polysilicon prices remained unchanged across all listed types.
While not to the same degree as CW29, all 3 n-type wafers were up in the range of 3.6% (210 mm) to 4.8% (182 mm) in CW30.
TOPCon n-type cells posted week-on-week gains of 5.0% (210R) to 12.0% (182 mm).
In the module segment, TOPCon bifacial modules increased 3.7% (182 mm) and 3.2% (210 mm). China Project Prices were up 2.9% (≥595W) and 0.7% (≥615W). The BC Module (655W+) rose 1.3%, and the 210 mm HJT Module (715-730W) increased 0.6%.
Solar glass prices remained flat in CW30.
This is the second consecutive week of increases for the PV Price Index. YtD, polysilicon is now in positive territory, while n-type wafers, cells, and modules are reducing earlier losses. The phase-out of p-type products continues.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
