
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index continued its upward trend into Calendar Week 31, especially with products upstream.
Granular silicon and Chinese n-type silicon rose 2.3% and 4.3% week-on-week (WoW), respectively.
n-Type wafer prices increased for the fourth consecutive week, with gains of 6.9% (210 mm), 8.0% (210R), and 9.1% (182 mm).
TOPCon n-type cells posted mid- to high-single-digit gains week-on-week.
Module prices remained unchanged after 3 straight weeks of increases.
The 2 solar glass types continued to maintain their prices in CW31.
This is the third consecutive week of overall gains for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index. Year-to-date, polysilicon prices are up at least 18.5%. n-Type wafers, cells, and modules continue to narrow their losses, while p-type products continue to remain absent from listings.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
