After 3 back-to-back weeks of increases, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index took a pause in Calendar Week 32, with only 3 products seeing price changes.
The polysilicon category was flat week-on-week (WoW); however, it is up in the high 20%s to low 30%s month-on-month (MoM).
Like polysilicon, wafer prices also remained stable WoW, with n-type wafers up 18.8% (210 mm) to 27.5% (182 mm) MoM.
The TOPCon n-type 182 mm cell rose 3.3% WoW, while the other cell types maintained their prices. All 3 listed n-type cells are up 10.4% (210 mm) to 23.7% (182 mm) MoM.
The 210 mm high-power HJT Module (715–730W) increased 0.6% from CW31, while China Project Price (≥595W) rose 2.1% WoW.
The 2 solar glass types continued to maintain their prices, unchanged since the notable drop in CW26.
After 3 consecutive weeks of gains, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw limited movement in CW32. Year-to-date, polysilicon prices are up at least 18.5%. N-type wafers, cells, and modules continue to reduce earlier losses, while p-type products remain absent from listings.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
