
Calendar Week 33 was neutral to slightly negative for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with 4 products seeing price decreases and none recording increases.
The polysilicon category was flat week-on-week (WoW) but remains up double-digits month-on-month (MoM).
Wafer prices also held steady WoW, with n-type wafers up 18.2% (210 mm) to 26.3% (182 mm) MoM.
The TOPCon n-type 182 mm cell saw the sharpest drop this week, down 6.3% WoW (up 27.1% MoM). TOPCon 210 mm prices fell 1.7% WoW.
China Project Price for ≥595 W modules declined 1.4% WoW (up 4.2% MoM), while ≥615 W slipped 0.7% WoW (up 1.1% MoM).
The 2 solar glass types continued to maintain their prices, unchanged since the significant drop in CW26.
After several weeks of gains, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index edged lower in CW33. Year-to-date, polysilicon prices are up at least 18.5% – the highest gains for any category. n-Type wafers, cells, and modules continue to narrow earlier losses, while p-type products remain absent from listings.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
