
Following a week of positive movement, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index paused in Calendar Week 36, with none of the listed products seeing price changes week-on-week (WoW)
After low- to mid-single-digit increases in CW35, all polysilicon types held steady WoW.
Wafers were also flat WoW but continue to show the strongest month-on-month (MoM) gains among all categories.
The 3 TOPCon cells are up in the range of 3.1% (182 mm) to 4% (210R) MoM.
Module prices remained unchanged in CW36.
Both solar glass types also held steady, after the 2 mm variant rebounded to RMB 14/m² (its CW25 level) in CW35.
Overall, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index was flat WoW. Excluding discontinued products, all but 4 tracked products are flat to up year-to-date (YtD). Polysilicon continues to show the strongest gains, up 23.5% to 27.0% YtD.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
