
Returning from a break, Calendar Week 41 was largely stable for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index.
n-Type Chinese silicon, the only product to see an increase this week, rose 1.0% week-on-week (WoW).
Wafer prices remained flat WoW.
Cell prices also held steady, unchanged from the previous week.
In the module category, the recently added TOPCon bifacial 700–725W module declined 1.7% WoW, while China Project Price (≥595W) was down 0.3%.
The 2 solar glass types continued to remain stable.
Overall, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index maintained its mostly positive trajectory in Calendar Year 2025. Year-to-date (YtD), excluding discontinued products, all but 5 tracked products are flat to up. Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while modules are down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
