Calendar Week 45 was a slightly negative one for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, breaking the recent trend of stability.
The polysilicon category has continued to hold steady, as it did in recent weeks.
Having remained unchanged for 7 consecutive weeks, wafer prices saw low-to-mid single-digit declines in CW45.
Prices for TOPCon 182 and 210 mm cells declined by 4.6% and 3.2%, respectively, on a week-on-week (WoW) basis.
TOPCon bifacial 210R, 60 Cell (610-635W), the latest addition to the modules category, was again the only product to see a change this week, declining 1.5% WoW.
The 2 solar glass types have maintained their prices since CW35.
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index continues its mostly positive trajectory in Calendar Year 2025. Excluding discontinued products (namely PERC), all but 7 tracked products are flat to up YtD. Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
