

The TaiyangNews PV Price Index experienced single-digit price declines in 2 product categories in Calendar Week 48.
The polysilicon category continues its steady streak since CW41.
The 3 listed n-type wafers saw week-on-week (WoW) declines of 3.8% to 7.7%, essentially reaching levels seen during CW30-34.
The cell category saw single-digit price declines in CW48, following sub-1% declines in CW47.
Module prices continue to remain stable WoW.
The 2 solar glass types have maintained their prices since CW35.
With 4 weeks to go till the end of Calendar Year 2025, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index remains on its mostly positive trajectory, albeit barely. Excluding discontinued products (namely PERC), all but 7 tracked products are flat to up year-to-date (YtD). Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
