The polysilicon category continues its steady streak since CW41.
The 3 listed n-type wafers saw week-on-week (WoW) declines between 1.3% and 1.7%, with the n-type 210R 130 µm turning negative year-to-date (YtD).
Continuing its trend of slight declines, the cell category again saw single-digit price declines in CW49.
After holding steady for a few weeks, module prices declined 0.6% to 2.6% WoW.
The 2.0 mm solar glass declined 3.6% WoW, having maintained stability since CW35.
Entering the last month of Calendar Year 2025, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index has pivoted toward a neutral territory. While upstream products are generally positive YtD, downstream prices are negative for the period. Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
