

The TaiyangNews PV Price Index experienced another week of single-digit declines in Calendar Week 50, albeit of lesser magnitude and fewer in number than CW49.
The polysilicon category has maintained stability since CW41.
The n-type 210 mm wafer declined 2% week-on-week (WoW) while the n-type 210R declined 2.4%.
The cell category continued its trend of slight declines in CW50.
The 210R BC Module (655W+) was the only product to see a decline in the module category, down 1.3% WoW.
Solar glass variants were stable WoW, after the 2.0 mm solar glass declined 3.6% in CW49.
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index is firmly in the neutral territory, if not slightly down, as Calendar Year 2025 nears its end. While upstream products are generally positive YtD, downstream prices are negative for the period. Polysilicon remains the strongest performer, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
