

Continuing its positive turn from Calendar Week 51, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw 2 categories registering Week-on-Week (WoW) price increases in CW52, while the others maintained their levels.
The polysilicon category has maintained stability since CW41.
All 3 n-type wafers saw single-digit WoW increases, ranging from 3.3% to 8.3%, but still down mid single digits month-on-month (MoM).
Similar to wafers, the 3 listed TOPCon cells rose 6.9% to 8.5% WoW, almost negating their MoM declines.
While modules maintained their prices WoW, they are largely down in the low single digits MoM.
Solar glass variants were stable WoW.
Closing out Calendar Year 2025 on a positive note, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw continued strength in CW52. Barring discontinued products, all categories except Modules are up Year-to-Date. Polysilicon gained the most through the year, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
