Calendar Week 7 for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw 3 positive changes in cell prices and 1 negative in modules.
All listed polysilicon products maintained their prices WoW in CW7.
The 3 n-type wafers are up 0.1% MoM while they are flat WoW in CW7.
The 3 listed TOPCon cell types of 182 mm, 210 mm and 210R saw their prices increase by 1.7%, 1.7% and 3.5%, respectively, from CW6.
The TOPCon bifacial 210 mm 60-cell module experienced a 0.7% price decline WoW.
Solar glass varieties have maintained their prices thus far this year, after seeing a sharp drop in the last week of CY2024.
The first 7 weeks of CY2025 have been largely positive for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with only the 2 TOPCon module types seeing price declines thus far. In general, products upstream have seen some upward movement while things have been relatively stable downstream.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
