

The TaiyangNews PV Price Index had a reasonably strong start to the year, with 3 product categories recording price increases from EoY 2025.
As had been the case since CW41/2025 through the End of the Year, the polysilicon category remains unchanged as we enter CY2026.
Prices for n-type 182 and 210R wafers recorded increases of 3.8% and 0.8% week-on-week (WoW), respectively.
The 3 TOPCon cell types saw considerable WoW price spikes, from 15.6% (182 mm) to 19.4% (Bifacial 210R).
Modules recorded slight increases ranging from 0.7% to 3% WoW.
The 2 solar glass variants were stable WoW.
Calendar Year 2026 has started off reasonably well for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with 9 products logging price increases in CW1.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
