

The TaiyangNews PV Price Index resumed its declining trend in Calendar Week 23, after seeing no changes in CW22.
3 of the 4 listed polysilicon types declined this week: n-Type silicon by 1.4%, reusable by 4.5%, and Chinese 9N by 3.1%
The n-type 210R wafer declined 1.0% week-on-week (WoW), while the other 2 n-type variants were flat.
Prices for TOPCon 182 mm cells declined 4.6% WoW, while TOPCon 210 mm and 210 R variants declined an identical 4.5% from CW22.
6 of the 9 listed module types saw declines in CW23, ranging from 0.3% to 2.0%.
The 2 solar glass variants have remained stable since their declines of 5.1% (3.2 mm) and 10.2% (2.0 mm) in CW17.
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index experienced declines in 4 of the 5 listed categories in CW23. For the year, polysilicon and wafer products have declined by at least 26.4%, while cells and solar glass are down between 7.5% and 17.1%. Modules remain the only segment still in positive territory so far in CY2026.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
