The TaiyangNews PV Price Index recorded declines across three of the five listed categories in Calendar Week 28.
Polysilicon prices were unchanged for the second consecutive week.
All three n-type wafer products declined week-on-week (WoW): n-type 210 mm, 130 µm fell by 1.7%, n-type 182 mm, 130 µm by 3.3%, and n-type 210R, 130 µm by 3.1% from CW27.
In the cell category, TOPCon 182 mm prices declined by 1.1% WoW, while TOPCon 210 mm was down by 0.7% from CW27.
Among modules, the four TOPCon bifacial variants declined by 0.7% to 3.4% WoW, while the remaining module types were unchanged.
The two solar glass variants have remained stable since their declines of 5.1% (3.2 mm) and 10.2% (2.0 mm) in CW17.
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index continues to face downward pressure across categories. Year-to-date (YtD), polysilicon and wafer products have lost at least a quarter of their value, while cells and solar glass are down by between 7.5% and 28.9%. Modules remain the only segment still in positive territory overall in CY2026, although one module type slipped into negative territory this week.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
