Calendar Week 30 brought fresh declines to the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, particularly in the upstream segments.
After remaining unchanged for three consecutive weeks, all listed polysilicon types recorded price declines, ranging from 3.2% to 6.7%.
The wafer segment saw even steeper declines, with prices falling by 5.2% to 8.0% week-on-week (WoW).
Following a sharp decline in CW26, the cell segment has remained unchanged for three consecutive weeks.
In the modules category, the four TOPCon bifacial module types declined by 0.8% to 2.1% WoW, while China Project Price (≥615W) increased by 0.7%.
The two solar glass variants have seen no price changes since CW17.
Year-to-date (YtD), polysilicon, wafer, and cell products have each lost more than a quarter of their value, while solar glass is down by between 7.5% and 28.9%. Modules remain the only segment still in positive territory overall in CY2026, although two module types are now in negative territory.
