

The TaiyangNews PV Price Index declined in Calendar Week 9, especially in upstream segments.
The polysilicon category sees its first changes since CW41 2025, with all product types experiencing declines ranging from 1.1% to 8.6%.
The 3 n-type wafers also declined by 2.5% to 6.3% Week-on-Week.
Wafers followed the declining trend, with decreases of 3.0% to 3.4% WoW.
Prices in the module category were flat WoW, after 8 products experienced increases of 3.8%-10.3% in CW8.
Prices for the 2 solar glass variants have remained unchanged since CW49 of 2025.
Calendar Week 9 was a negative one overall for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index, with polysilicon, wafers, and cells logging declines WoW. Year-to-date, the cell and wafer categories are firmly in negative territory, while products downstream remain positive.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
