

The TaiyangNews PV Price Index had an uneventful run to the End of the Year (EoY) 2025, with all product categories maintaining their price levels Week-on-Week (WoW).
The polysilicon category remained unchanged since CW41 until EoY 2025, while registering price increases of 24.3% to 35.1% year-to-date (YtD).
Prices for the 3 listed n-type wafers were unchanged WoW, relatively flat month-on-month (MoM), and up 4% to 14.8% YtD.
The 3 TOPCon cell types were slightly positive MoM, and up 8.8% to 12.3% YtD.
Modules recorded slightly negative figures MoM, with the category largely down YtD.
The 2 solar glass variants were stable WoW and up YtD.
Calendar Year 2025 was a mostly positive one for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index. Barring discontinued products, all categories except Modules were up YtD. Polysilicon gained the most through the year, up 24.3% to 35.1% YtD, while module prices are generally down single digits.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
