Gäfke joined the group in 2016 and has been looking after the company’s growth in the APAC region, including market entries and expansion throughout Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan and Australia, according to the management.
Currently the company’s director of Projects for Asia Pacific (APAC), Gäfke will also be in charge of managing the group’s Energy Solutions business. His responsibilities will include handling the EMEA and APAC Projects businesses.

Gäfke will join as the board member on November 1, 2023, working alongside CEO Matthias Taft, CFO Mihaela Seidl and COO Günter Haug. Taft will continue to steer the group’s US Projects business along with the offshore wind business.
