SOFAR, a global provider of PV & ESS solutions, recently unveiled 2 new products at its Powering Forward New Product Launch event: the SOFAR PowerNano microinverter system and the PowerIn C&I ESS. These products expand SOFAR’s comprehensive offering to cover all scenarios across the residential, C&I, and utility sectors.

The PowerNano is designed for future home energy. It is a combination of a microinverter, smart home hub, and AC battery that offers an easy-to-use, easy-to-install, and easy-to-distribute solution that optimizes the ROI for home solar PV installations. The system is compatible with 182 / 210 mm high power PV modules, offers up to a 5% increase in energy yields, and provides plug-and-play installation and maintenance. At the event, SOFAR signed MoUs for 200,000 PowerNano sets with PowR Group, Elicity, PV Selected and Vögelin GmbH, indicating the microinverter’s competitive advantages.

The PowerIn is designed for C&I energy storage. It features pack-level active balancing, compatibility with high power modules, a DC/AC ratio reaching 1.5+, and 3-layer protection, which all ensure safety and optimal functionality. MoUs for PowerIn with a total capacity of 1.5GW were signed with PVO International, Bet Solar and PowR Group at the event, underscoring cost savings potential of the product.

SOFAR also showcased its PowerMaster, an industry-leading solution with cutting-edge technologies. Designed for grid resilience under demanding market conditions, it offers high efficiency, higher power yields, and robust durability, suitable for challenging environments. Other products on display included SOFAR’s flagship residential ESS, residential PV, C&I PV, and integrated residential ESS PowerAll, demonstrating the company’s wide-reaching PV & ESS solutions.
