Key Takeaways
  • EcoFlow launched its OASIS 3.0 EMS and EcoBot AI chatbot that create a more intuitive approach to managing a home energy system than conventional alternatives

  • They are compatible with the company’s OCEAN 2.0 series home ESS and the expanded STREAM 2 series battery portfolio

  • The company also unveiled its DC-coupled C&I ESS, Alps, from the A series, during the show

Balcony PV plus storage systems provider EcoFlow showcased its latest product portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026. Its showcase included OASIS 3.0 and the EcoBot series energy management system (EMS), along with the STREAM 2 plug-in home energy storage system (ESS). The company also debuted its series commercial & industrial (C&I) ESS for Europe.

The company’s latest EMS, OASIS 3.0, can be integrated with balcony PV + storage systems to continuously monitor and analyze key variables to automate home energy management. The efficiency of an automated system depends on accurate weather forecasting, mapping of the user’s day-to-day load patterns, and capturing sweet spots of dynamic electricity tariff slots. According to the company, these attributes can be handled by its latest EMS to optimize system performance. The common system operational functions are PV self-consumption, load shifting, and energy arbitrage, among others.

Alongside the showcased EMS, the company promoted its latest AI chatbot, EcoFlow EcoBot. It integrates with the EMS to serve as a virtual interface between users and the system. A conventional system requires users to navigate demand schedules or multiple control functions to adjust parameters or energy plans. This system simplifies the process, with users receiving automatic recommendations that help them create an energy plan or adjust settings by providing appropriate prompts, creating a more intuitive approach to managing home energy systems.

The company expanded its battery portfolio with the STREAM 2 series system, which typically combines plug-in batteries with a PV array and STREAM microinverters. STREAM 3000STREAM 5000, and STREAM AC 5000 are part of the series, offering a storage capacity range of 3-5 kWh. STREAM 5000, for example, offers a storage capacity of 5 kWh and can deliver a full-load (single-phase) power of 3 kW. It supports integration with the above-mentioned EMS for real-time home energy management.

EcoFlow also showcased its OCEAN 2 Series residential ESS. The product range includes OCEAN 2 3-PhaseOCEAN 2 Single-Phase and OCEAN 2 Plus Single-Phase, with outputs ranging from 3 kW to 15 kW.

The OCEAN 2 Plus series ESS consists of up to 6 lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery banks, each with up to 5 kWh capacity, stacked vertically to form a 30 kWh battery stack. Coupling this stack with a 12 kW single-phase hybrid inverter makes it a 12 kW/30 kWh ESS platform. For heavy home loads, such as the heater, electric vehicle (EV) charger, and heat pump, the 2 × 12 kW/30 kWh battery stacks with a 12 kW hybrid inverter can form a 60 kWh battery tower, increasing the backup capacity. For loads above 12 kW, a prosumer can further connect 5 such battery towers + inverters (12 kW/60 kWh) in parallel (electrically) to form a 60 kW/300 kWh home storage system.

During the event, the company debuted its modular DC-coupled C&I ESS, Alps, which has a storage capacity of 20 kWh.
