Shenzhen Envicool Technology Co., Ltd., a China-based battery energy storage system (BESS) maker, introduced its 20-ft containerized BattGeek BESS at The Battery Show India 2026.

Measuring 6,058 × 2,438 × 2,896 mm (W × D × H), this BESS integrates a 314 Ah lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cell-based 5.016 MWh storage section with power conversion systems (PCS) within a container. The company classifies the product as an AC block, which combines storage and PCSs into a single platform. Individual PCS capacity ranges from 125 to 500 kW at 1,500 V DC input and 690 V AC output voltages, enabling grid pairing of the storage section. It can charge or discharge at two speeds when connected to the grid: a faster 0.5C or a slower 0.25C. According to the product datasheet, it has a maximum operating noise level of 70 dB at 0.5C, and 5 dB quieter at 0.25C.

It employs a liquid-cooling system for both the storage and PCS sections, with an operating temperature range of -30 to +55°C. The rated cooling capacity for the battery and PCS sections varies by C-rate: 60 kW for the battery and 50 kW for the PCS at 0.5C, and half these figures at 0.25C. The BESS weighs up to 45 tons and employs aerosol-based fire suppression and water-based firefighting systems. It supports flexible deployment in side-by-side, back-to-back, or AC-block layout.
