Feston S.E.V promoted its ORA S4 and Ener X Pro ESSs at the show, targeting C&I use cases
The former employs air cooling and the latter liquid cooling for thermal regulation at the cell level
The company also showcased its 10 ft containerized Giron Edge and 20 ft container-based Giron Max with a storage capacity of 2 MWh and 5 MWh, respectively
India-based energy storage system (ESS) maker Feston S.E.V promoted its ORA S4 and Ener X Pro ESSs at REI 2026 for C&I applications.
The ORA S4 is built around eight battery units, each rated at 16 kWh, for a total storage capacity of 128 kWh in an IP54-rated cabinet. These units use 314 Ah lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cells. In comparison, the Ener X Pro consists of four 60.08 kWh LFP battery packs, each rated IP67 and using 314 Ah cells, for a total capacity of 241 kWh. Both products are equipped with a hybrid bidirectional power conversion system (PCS) that facilitates direct connection of PV + diesel generator (DG) + storage with the grid. The ORA S4's PCS connects a PV array of up to 65 kW via multiple built-in MPPTs. The PCS is rated for a full-load power output of 50 kW (3-phase). This ESS uses air cooling for temperature control. The company specifies a battery life of more than 6,000 cycles.
Ener X Pro's 125 kW PCS, featuring eight MPPTs (each rated at 40 A DC and a voltage range of 180 to 850 V), can connect with a PV input of up to 250 kW. It can also directly connect to an external DG set. It offers more than 8,000 cycles of battery life and uses liquid cooling for thermal regulation. The company claims this cooling method can keep the cell-to-cell temperature difference within 2°C.
The company also promoted its Giron Edge and Giron Max battery energy storage system (BESS) for utility-scale use cases. The Edge is housed in a 10 ft container and consists of multiple battery packs (each uses 314 Ah cells) for a total storage capacity of 2 MWh. It has a rated operating voltage (DC) of 832 V and can charge or discharge up to 6,000 times at a 0.5C rate. The container has an IP55 rating, while its built-in battery packs have IP65-rated enclosures. The Max series offers 5 MWh of storage capacity in a larger 20 ft container. It has a higher operating voltage of 1,331.2 V but has the same battery life (6,000 cycles). Both BESS models use a circulating liquid coolant to absorb the operating heat from cold plates connected beneath each battery pack.
