GoodWe has received ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 certifications

The latter is for the company’s IT service management system processes
A well-known provider of solar-plus-storage solutions, GoodWe, has obtained ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 certifications, to support data protection and standardize IT service management practices.
The first of the two establishes a framework for the Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) for handling and protecting personally identifiable information (PII), which can identify or trace an individual, whether directly or passively. A few direct identifiers include name, address, phone number, and email, among others, whereas examples of indirect identifiers are gender, race, date of birth, and others. This personalized data standardization is an add-on to the company’s information security management, for which it received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification earlier, GoodWe says. The latter one outlines requirements for maintaining data confidentiality, integrity, and availability internally.
Meanwhile, the company also received a certification for its IT Service Management Systems (ITSM) in accordance with ISO/IEC 20000-1:2028, which help establish and maintain the company’s IT services processes in a structured manner.
According to the company, these certifications apply across its systems, cybersecurity practices, digital platforms, and operational processes.
