HYXI displayed its new HYXI Aura series home ESS for Europe
This system comprises up to 6 LFP battery packs, each with 7 or 9 kW capacity
These packs have a life of up to 10,000 cycles
HYXI (formerly HYXiPOWER), a China-based PV-plus-storage system provider, showcased its latest HYXI Aura series energy storage system (ESS) at Intersolar Europe 2026, aimed at Europe’s household prosumers.
The company says it is an integrated ESS that combines a hybrid inverter, battery storage, and an energy management system (EMS) into a single enclosure, rather than wiring them individually. This ‘All-In-One’ system, consisting of 7- or 9-kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery packs, is rated for a maximum capacity (charging/discharging) of 54 kWh by stacking up to 6 packs vertically. The batteries have a guaranteed life of 10,000 cycles. Its hybrid inverter, which couples both PV and the grid, has a rated full-load power of 30 kW (single-phase).
Equipped with up to 4 MPPT channels, it is designed to accommodate up to 180% DC/AC oversizing, with a corresponding PV capacity of up to 54 kW. This feature maximizes solar harvesting and delivers excess PV generation to battery charging. The system switches over to off-grid mode within 0 ms of a grid outage and provides an emergency backup of up to 30 kW. Unlike the conventional external emergency bypass gateway-based configuration, it has a built-in automatic transfer switch (ATS) and 63 A per-phase passthrough facility to deliver whole-home backup power.
In terms of system conversion efficiency, the maximum rating is 98.65%.
