

KOSTAL showcased its HELIVOR HV series LFP battery system with a storage range of 6.4 to 230 kWh
It can be integrated with the PENTICORE BI 25 series battery inverter for an AC-coupled PV + storage configuration
The company also promoted its MDC to centrally control multiple inverters
KOSTAL SOLAR ELECTRIC, a maker of PV inverters and energy storage systems (ESS), showcased its latest battery stack, PV string, and battery inverter, focusing on AC- and DC-coupled PV-plus-storage systems, at Intersolar Europe 2026.
The company’s booth showcased its HELIVOR HV modular battery unit for residential and commercial storage applications. It is equipped with 2 lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP)-based battery packs, with a cumulative storage capacity of up to 6.4 kWh. This capacity can be expanded to 28.8 kWh by mounting 9 battery packs with a screwless plug-in connection.
This tower-like storage system can be integrated with the company’s PENTICORE BI 25 series battery inverter for an AC-coupled PV + storage retrofit project. With a rated full-load power output capacity of 25 kW (3-phase), its backup duration can be adjusted with a rated storage range of 5 to 230 kWh. Aligning with this specification, up to 8 battery towers can be connected in parallel, resulting in a 25 kW/230.4 kWh ESS. In terms of operation, the company says it maximizes PV self-consumption and manages real-time power flow to residential or commercial loads. It offers peak shaving (discharging at peak load) and participates in dynamic tariff-based charge or discharge operation. According to the product datasheet, the inverter has a rated maximum conversion efficiency of 98.3%.
This storage system can also be coupled with the PENTICORE G3 series product, which can be used as a hybrid or battery inverter for DC- and AC-coupled configurations, respectively.
Alongside the batteries and inverters, the company also displayed its Multi Device Control (MDC), which facilitates real-time control of up to 3 PENTICORE G3 series inverters via a single device, reducing installation and commissioning time.
