LICO Materials displayed its LiGRID-R ESS at the show, targeting integration of residential rooftop PV + storage systems with the grid
The company also promoted its LiGRID-C&I, with a rated storage capacity range of 20 to 250 kWh, for C&I use cases
A 100 Ah LFP battery was also part of the showcase
LiGRID, the battery energy storage system (BESS) brand of LICO Materials, a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) based EV and BESS battery manufacturer, displayed its energy storage systems (ESS) at The Battery Show India 2026.
The company promotes LiGRID-R, a cabinet-based ESS, for pairing residential rooftop PV + storage with the grid. Equipped with up to four 5 kWh, 314 Ah LFP battery packs in a vertical arrangement, it offers up to 20 kWh of total storage capacity. Eight such units can be connected in parallel for cumulative storage capacity of 160 kWh. Each 20 kWh pack has a full-load power output of 2.56 kW (DC), a rated voltage of 51.2 V, and is tested for a guaranteed life of more than 2,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge (DOD). It can be installed on a wall or floor and can be connected to a single-phase hybrid inverter to form a PV + storage system with the grid. It supports an existing or new PV array. It features an LCD for real-time monitoring and local data accumulation, while its built-in RS485 port, Bluetooth device, and WiFi port enable remote monitoring and data accumulation.
The company also displayed its LiGRID-C&I ESS at the show. It uses several LFP batteries, ranging from four to 50, each rated at 5.12 kWh, for a higher total capacity range of around 20 to 250 kWh. These capacities are stacked in a larger IP54-rated cabinet. According to the datasheet, this ESS has a rated system voltage range of 204.8 V to 512 V, a common life of more than 2,000 cycles, and an operating temperature range of -10 to +50°C. It supports two charging/discharging rates: 0.2C and 0.5C. For a PV + storage system with the grid, it supports hybrid inverters such as the LiGRID-R; however, only 3-phase types are allowed. This system targets C&I power interruptions, peak demand shaving, and maximizing PV self-consumption, among others.
LiGRID-U, a UPS and inverter battery series, was also on display. It uses LFP chemistry, is rated at 100 Ah, and is available in three voltages: 12.8 V, 25.6 V, and 51.2 V. It supports wall mounting, floor-standing, and standalone installations. The company promotes this battery as a low-maintenance, longer-service-life alternative to lead-acid counterparts.
All showcased products share a 5-year product warranty.
