PCTEL's Deploy Energy Hub is a containerized energy solution designed for rapid deployment, modular expansion, and temporary or remote power applications
Each unit integrates a transformer substation, medium-voltage connection, BESS, EV charging infrastructure, smart power distribution, and SCADA-based remote monitoring
The system can be deployed as a standalone unit or combined through vertical and horizontal stacking for applications ranging from disaster response to critical infrastructure support
Serbia-based engineering company PCTEL d.o.o., which is involved in the development, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power infrastructure, presented Deploy Energy Hub, the energy infrastructure brand under the company.
Deploy Energy Hub is a prefabricated integrated energy solution in a container. It can be easily transported, deployed within 4 hours, and can be scaled to the required capacity anywhere, especially in crisis areas. This modular solution comes in 10, 20, or 40-foot containers. Each 10-foot container is rated at a maximum of 5 MW and can be deployed as a standalone solution or combined with other units in vertical stacking (up to 4 units) and unlimited horizontal stacking.
A single container comprises a mobile transformer substation, a medium voltage connection, smart power distribution, battery energy storage system (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, SCADA & remote monitoring, and the infrastructure monitoring systems.
The key applications highlighted for this solution are disaster response, humanitarian & medical centers, military operations, remote power generation, at critical infrastructure such as oil and gas plants, industrial facilities, EV infrastructure, and for grid support. The company claims a cumulative deployment of 40 such units powering critical infrastructure in Serbia, Angola, Albania, and Vietnam.
As part of protecting critical infrastructure, Energy Hub is also integrated with its Guardian System. It is an autonomous responsive protection system in the form of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), whose objective is to patrol, detect threats, and secure the perimeter, in addition to thermal monitoring, emergency assessment, and asset inspection.
