SKYWORTH Solar, a Chinese home appliance manufacturer turned PV and energy storage system (ESS) provider, showcased its Europe-focused product portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026. Davide Lonardi, the Country Manager for Italy at SKYWORTH Solar, the PV arm of SKYWORTH Group, gave the TaiyangNews team a tour of the company’s Booth.
Banking on its 40-year experience in home appliance manufacturing, the company has installed nearly 26 GW of PV capacity across China over the last 3 years, says Lonardi.
On the product side, he highlighted the company’s latest home ESS, which is powered by a home energy management system (HEMS). It combines a 3-phase hybrid inverter, SWH010KH-T1-G2, and a vertically stacked modular battery unit, SWR.12-H1-GS, forming a 10 kW/10 kWh ESS platform. The inverter connects to smart home appliances, such as a bidirectional EV charger and a heat pump, and performs real-time monitoring and operational control via the EMS, unifying home appliances with the integrated energy ecosystem.
The company also promoted its latest app, Energy Vision Platform, for real-time monitoring of PV self-consumption, charging/discharging, and participation in regional virtual power plant (VPP) programs, among others.Still in its beta version, the app can also adjust battery charging/discharging according to dynamic electricity tariff slots by leveraging its embedded AI algorithms, added Lonardi.
Also among the showcased products was the company’s new plug-in balcony PV + storage system, SolaMate. It comprises 2 × 450 W all-black BC modules and an 800 W single-phase microinverter that aligns with Germany’s feed-in limit. The system can be integrated with a battery stack to form a micro-storage system that can be placed on the prosumer’s balcony or in the garden.
The company also showcased a foldable, portable PV module for outdoor applications that can be used to charge devices, such as mobile phones, andelectric vehicles.
