Key Takeaways
  • Sunwoda showcased its OASIS L261 All-in-One ESS with a nominal rating of 125 kW/261 kWh at the show

  • The company also displayed a storage-only alternative – OASIS A200 – with 200 kWh capacity

  • Both products specify a life of up to 9,000 cycles under testing conditions of 25°C, 0.5C/0.5C, 90% DOD, and 70% EOL

Sunwoda Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a well-known China-based energy storage system (ESS) manufacturer, showcased its OASIS L261 All-in-One and OASIS A200 ESS at The Battery Show India 2026. These products target the country's commercial & industrial (C&I) users.

The L261 combines a storage section, a power conversion system (PCS), a liquid cooling system, and a battery management system (BMS) within a 980 × 2,350 × 1,390 mm (W × H × D) cabinet. The storage section comprises five 52.2 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery units, mounted on one another for a total capacity of 261 kWh. A bidirectional 125 kW PCS is placed beneath the storage section (for grid pairing), followed by an HV control box and a liquid cooling unit. Upon request, the ESS can be equipped with an STS for switching between on- and off-grid mode within 20 ms of a grid outage to deliver up to 125 kW emergency (3-phase) backup power to dedicated critical loads.

In comparison, A200 consists of up to 10 battery packs, each rated at 20 kWh, for a total capacity that is 61 kWh lower. This storage is rated for a nominal charge/discharge rate of 0.7C. A control box is then placed below this storage section to connect to an external hybrid inverter, rather than pairing with the grid via built-in PCS and STS. The inverter directly connects a greenfield PV array and the ESS to the grid via dedicated ports, enabling a DC-coupled PV + storage system. The ESS employs forced air cooling for thermal regulation at the battery and cell level.

Both products share an IP55 ingress protection rating, an operating temperature range of -30 to +55 °C, and a life of up to 9,000 cycles (charging/discharging).

The booth also displayed residential ESS models: SunESS H StackPlus and SunESS Pro. As the name suggests, the StackPlus stacks up to 23 battery packs, each rated at 12 kWh, on top of one another for a total capacity of about 276 kWh. It supports at least three batteries, for a total capacity of 36 kWh. For capacity expansion, it supports up to 12 ESSs to connect in parallel, creating a 3.32 MWh cluster. The Pro series uses lower-capacity (10 kWh) batteries and connects six units vertically for a total capacity of 60 kWh. It is designed for a lower cluster capacity of 120 kWh by connecting two ESS units in parallel.
