A new India-based energy storage system (ESS) manufacturer, Tecopower, introduced its upcoming product lineup at The Battery Show India 2026, targeting commercial & industrial (C&I) applications.

The company displayed its prototype MAIKAA I-60kW/207kWh and MAIKAA I-125kW/261kWh C&I ESSs. The 60 kW/207 kWh model, featuring 100 Ah lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cell-based battery units, offers up to 207 kW of storage capacity at a full-load power output (3-phase) of 60 kW. It uses a 1,850 × 1,100 × 2,150 mm (W × D × H) cabinet. The 125 kW/261 kWh model, by contrast, uses 314 Ah LFP cell-based battery packs for a higher total storage capacity of 261 kWh. The product specifies a rated full-load power output (3-phase) of 125 kW and uses a taller cabinet of 1,100 × 1,350 × 2,350 mm.

Both products switch to backup mode during a sudden grid outage and can deliver up to 60 kW (60 kW//207 kWh model and at 480 V AC) and 125 kW (125 kW//261 kWh model and at 400 V AC) of backup power. The lower-capacity ESS uses air-cooling, and its higher-capacity peer employs liquid-cooling for thermal regulation; however, they share a common operating temperature range of -20 to +55°C. They have an IP54 rating and use an aerosol-based fire suppression system. For local monitoring and data accumulation, both incorporate a 7-inch LCD touchscreen.
