The Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), part of the American Electric Power (AEP) group through AEP Service Corporation (AEPSC), has launched draft request for proposals (RFP) documents to seek up to 3.95 GW renewable energy generation capacity, preferably located in the state of Oklahoma, US.

Having won the auction for the 140 MW Karavasta Solar Project in Albania, France’s Voltalia has won yet another solar auction in the country with 100 MW capacity; however the lowest winning bid for both auctions differed slightly.

Indian renewable energy capacity now over 92 GW: The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) says as on January 31, 2021, Indian renewable energy capacity reached a total of 92.54 GW with the addition of 1,396.97 MW in January 2021.
