France has reported around 16% YoY increase in new solar PV capacity additions during 9M/2023, according to the country’s Données et Etudes Statistiques or Data and Statistical Studies Department (SDES).

French solar PV installations continue to develop at a slow but steady pace with a total of 601 MW deployed in Q1/2023 up from 596 MW last year, taking the country’s cumulative PV capacity to 17.15 GW, according to the Données et Etudes Statistiqu.
