After not getting a good response for 700 MW solar power capacity in the 1 GW Dholera Solar Park, GUVNL in India's Gujarat state has again re-tendered the unallocated capacity - and this time it has increased the ceiling tariff to INR 2.92 per kWh compared to INR 2.75 per kWh it fixed in June 2019.

As per Mercom, the 1 GW Dholera Solar Park Phase V tender was undersubscribed by 700 MW. It rounded off the capacity to 250 MW and awarded the same to GPCL and Tata Power.
