European Commission Approves French Renewable Energy Installations Scheme Worth €200 Million ($229 Million) For Self-Consumption; Program Aims For 490 MW Capacity By 2020

The European Commission’s Margrethe Vestager (in the picture) endorsed the French renewable energy state aid scheme worth €200 million ($229 million) by saying that it will stimulate competition between various renewable energy sources and will also increase their share in the country’s total energy mix.
