Aira Introduces An Intelligent Solar Plus Storage Solution For European Home Owners
Aira unveiled its latest Aira Power Hub series hybrid inverter and Power Store battery bank for European prosumers
The EMS of the company, Aira Home Energy System, connects and controls these products with PV panels and heat pumps on a single platform
The hybrid inverter’s AI-powered EMS optimizes system operation in real-time
Aira, a Stockholm-based solar plus storage solution provider, has launched its latest products for European residential prosumers to complement the Aira Home Energy System.
The company’s new Aira Power Hub hybrid inverter connects PV modules, Aira Power Store battery banks, and Aira Heat Pump. The core of this ‘all-in-one' home energy ecosystem is the Power Hub, which is nothing but an intelligent hybrid inverter that also acts as control center. It harvests available solar energy by converting it to AC power and stores the excess for future use scenarios. Additionally, it forecasts energy demand, automatically manages power flows between the heat pump, storage, and the grid in real time by leveraging Aira Intelligence, an AI-driven energy management system (EMS). This EMS optimizes system operation by integrating dynamic regional electricity tariffs, educating its algorithm on daily household load patterns, and monitoring weather data in real time. The Aira Power Store is an energy bank to store excess solar energy or low-cost grid power. Users can monitor PV generation, track the status of storage energy, and overall system performance by installing the Aira Home Energy app on their mobile phones. This app also provides insights into the long-term savings of the asset owner from the system. The company states that this integrated platform can reduce a European prosumer’s monthly electricity bills by up to 90% compared to a normal consumer with an identical sanctioned load capacity.
However, the detailed technical specifications of individual components of this solution are not available. Aira also offers financing for the system that enables the buyers to pay the price in monthly installments.
The commercialization details for these products are not included in the company’s press release.
