Anker SOLIX presented its XE all-in-one residential battery system in Australia, featuring dual-cycle operation
The system uses 314 Ah LFP cells rated for 10,000 cycles and offers storage capacity of up to 42 kWh per stack
The company also displayed its Solarbank 4 Pro and Solarbank 4 Max AC balcony solar storage systems
Home energy and storage provider Anker SOLIX exhibited its XE home battery at All Energy Australia 2026. The residential energy storage system (ESS) combines an inverter and battery in a single unit. The company also displayed balcony solar systems, portable power stations and electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions.
The XE uses 314 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, with a claimed cycle life of 10,000 charge-discharge cycles. The system starts at 7 kWh of storage capacity, which can be increased to 42 kWh per stack by adding battery modules. According to the company, the unit is 1.3 m tall when configured with 28 kWh of battery storage. It also highlights an IP66 protection rating, an operating temperature range of -20°C to 55°C, and a 10-year warranty for the XE system.
The XE supports dual-cycle operation, allowing the battery to charge and discharge twice a day. A 7 kWh module can deliver up to 14 kWh of daily energy throughput through 2 charge-discharge cycles, the company adds. Its ANKA AI energy assistant manages the charging and discharging schedule.
The company has also introduced its Power Dock Mini gateway to simplify installation. The device fits inside the switchboard and includes metering and bypass functions. According to Anker SOLIX, it eliminates the need for external current transformer (CT) wiring and a separate changeover switch. The company says its Flash Install arrangement can reduce installation time from a full day to a few hours. The gateway also supports whole-home backup functionality.
At the exhibition, Anker also displayed the Solarbank 4 Pro and Solarbank 4 Max AC. Both balcony solar storage systems target apartments and rental homes where installing conventional rooftop solar systems can be difficult. The company highlights their plug-and-play design, although installation and grid connection remain subject to local regulations. Anker SOLIX previously presented its Solarbank 4 E5000 Pro system at Intersolar Europe 2026 (see Anker SOLIX Expands Plug-In Micro-Storage Portfolio At Intersolar).
