Antaisolar, a leading global provider of solar trackers and fixed-tilt racking solutions, has expanded its portfolio with the launch of its new ALTRA rooftop mounting system series for a wide range of rooftop solar applications. These systems are designed to ‘make the most challenging rooftops solar-ready with ease’, says the Chinese manufacturer, and usher in the ‘flash installation era’.

In other words, Antaisolar says the system is designed to simplify installation processes, improve project efficiency, and support reliable rooftop solar deployment.

The ALTRA portfolio covers 4 rooftop scenarios – tile roofs, metal roofs, flat roofs, and balconies – and is divided into 3 product tiers: PRO, BASE, and LITE.

According to the company, the range is intended to help customers select systems based on rooftop conditions, local standards, and project requirements.

For tile roofs, the system includes adjustable hooks compatible with clay, concrete, and asphalt tiles, which the manufacturer says are ideal for both new installations and renovation projects.

For metal roofs, Antaisolar has introduced a non-penetrative clamp system designed for standing-seam, trapezoidal, and Kliplok roof types without needing drilling or welding.

The flat roof system is designed to comply with local standards, including Eurocode, AS/NZS 1170, and JIS C 8955, while the company introduces ALTRA-BALC II balcony solution for the rapidly growing balcony solar segment. A 3-in-1 non-penetrative solution, it supports railing-clamp, wall-mounted, and ground-tripod configurations.

Antaisolar emphasizes that its ALTRA series offers more than just rooftop compatibility. The PRO series includes high-strength rails and the company’s SnapFit quick-installation technology, while BASE is positioned for mainstream residential and commercial projects. The LITE version is designed for regions with lower wind and snow loads using lightweight rail configurations.

Antaisolar said its SnapFit installation system integrates grounding functions into clamps and uses pre-assembled components to reduce on-site work. It claims that the system can improve installation efficiency by up to 50% through simplified ‘place, rotate, and click’ installation steps.

The new series comes with modular design features, as Antaisolar adds, intended to reduce SKU complexity, simplify logistics, and improve installation flexibility across rooftop applications.

Antaisolar’s Solar Roof One Stop Solution Launch Event is scheduled for May 20, 2026, at its Global Manufacturing Center in China. It will be livestreamed on the TaiyangNews LinkedIn channel
