China-headquartered BENY showcased energy storage, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and PV protection products at Intersolar South America 2026.

For commercial & industrial (C&I) facilities, BENY presented its VoyagerPower 2.0 liquid-cooled energy storage system (ESS). The containerized system has a rated capacity of 5,016 kWh and uses 314 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells.

It integrates the batteries, a 3-level battery management system, liquid cooling and fire protection in an IP55-rated enclosure. The ESS is designed for peak shaving, capacity expansion, emergency backup, and grid balancing. Its prefabricated design reduces on-site installation and commissioning requirements, according to BENY.

For commercial EV charging, the company displayed its dual-connector Starlink DC charger, with outputs ranging from 80 kW to 240 kW. Its 2 outlets can be configured for different vehicle and regional charging standards. The IP55-rated unit supports an output voltage of up to 1,000 V DC and has a stated efficiency of at least 95%.

BENY also presented a DC charging station rated from 120 kW to 480 kW. It features four connectors, enabling simultaneous charging of up to four EVs, with dynamic power sharing between the vehicles.

For residential applications, BENY exhibited an all-in-one system combining 11.7 kWh of battery storage with EV charging. It is designed for household energy management and the use of electricity generated/free from rooftop solar systems.

The company also presented a portable AC EV charger rated at up to 3.7 kW. Its control unit is integrated into the charging gun, eliminating the need for a separate control box. The IP54-rated charger operates from a single-phase 230 V AC supply and offers an adjustable charging current from 8 A to 16 A.

For rooftop PV systems, BENY displayed the BFS-S4 firefighter switch. It automatically disconnects the PV strings when the building’s AC supply is switched off or lost. The device supports up to four strings, a maximum voltage of 1,500 V DC, and a current of up to 50 A per string. It can also shut down automatically if its internal temperature reaches 85°C or be disconnected manually using an emergency button.

The company’s circuit protection portfolio included the BB1-80 DC circuit breaker, rated for up to 1,000 V DC and 80 A, and the BB2-63 thermomagnetic DC circuit breaker. The latter supports up to 1,500 V DC and rated currents from 6 A to 63 A. It provides overload and short-circuit protection for PV combiner boxes and energy storage distribution systems.
