Key Takeaways
  • BISOL expanded its colored-glass PV portfolio with a new grey module for architectural applications

  • The company introduced a new module for utility-scale applications with outputs of up to 580 W

  • BISOL also showcased its Supreme module, featuring a 25-year 100% output power guarantee

European solar module manufacturer BISOL showcased new colored PV products and its flagship solar module at Intersolar Europe 2026. The company has added a grey-colored-glass module to its colored photovoltaic portfolio.

Speaking to TaiyangNews, Marco De Bortoli, Sales Engineer for Italy at BISOL, presented the company's latest module portfolio. The newly launched grey module expands BISOL's colored PV portfolio, which already includes orange, red, and green variants. According to De Bortoli, the modules use colored glass instead of colored foils, which he said provides greater stability. He added that the modules use a 3.2 mm glass on the front and a backsheet on the rear, and are rated to withstand hailstones up to 4 cm in diameter.

For utility-scale applications, BISOL introduced the BGO module series. According to the company's datasheets, the series delivers 560-580 W of power with a maximum module efficiency of 23.5%. Measuring 2,177 × 1,134 × 35 mm, the modules incorporate 120 half-cut monocrystalline cells. BISOL offers the series in both monofacial and bifacial versions. The monofacial module features a backsheet, while the bifacial variant uses a transparent backsheet and offers 78±5% bifaciality.

The grey-colored glass module on display also carried the number 21,894, referring to the number of solder joints that BISOL says are individually validated during the production of its 96 half-cell BDO module.

BISOL also highlighted its flagship Supreme series BDO 435 W module. The company says the module is backed by a 25-year 100% output power guarantee. The Supreme BDO module delivers a power output of 435 W with a module efficiency of 21.8%. It incorporates 96 half-cut monocrystalline cells and measures 1,762 × 1,134 × 30 mm.
