

DAH Solar showcased its WINDGUARD PRO series module that is rated for a maximum power output of 670 W and an efficiency of 24.8%

DAH Solar, a China-based TOPCon PV module maker, showcased its latest products at Intersolar Europe 2026, targeting utility and commercial users.
For Europe’s extreme weather-prone regions, the company promoted its WINDGUARD PRO series module. The company says that the edges of the double-glass-based module’s laminate are enclosed by 28 mm metal frames with side slots. Unlike conventional modules, this frame is designed to match the laminate thickness without any front edge covers. Calling it a ‘Full-Screen’ design, the company says it uses the full area of the front glass, like a mobile phone screen. It explained that in the absence of front frames, dust or water easily slides down along the module’s bottom-frame edge, in either portrait or landscape orientation. As a result, these modules deliver higher power output than conventional alternatives in areas with seasonal pollen or industrial particulates, such as in Europe. To substantiate its claim, the company cited an outdoor field test report showing a power gain range of 6 to 15% for the Full-Screen modules compared to conventional counterparts. It was independently verified by a third-party inspection agency, says DAH Solar.
On the installation front, module-to-module mounting over a perlin structure is achieved with the company’s clamping mechanism, which consists of a stainless-steel screw (M8 × 40), a wing nut (M8), and a mid-clamp. This clamp kit can be formed by attaching the mid-clamp and wing nut to the screw. After that, the kit needs to be placed into a module side slot, then slide the adjacent module to bring them close. To lock onto the underlying rail, the mid-clamp needs to be lowered. It hides the clamp structure. According to the company, this mechanism improves installation stability and exhibits puncture resistance under higher wind loads than conventional peers. The company noted that the module is suitable for Europe’s coastal regions, which are prone to cyclones and storms.
Equipped with 132 half-cut cells, the module delivers up to 670 W of power and 24.8% efficiency. For cell-to-cell interconnection, the company adopted soldering-free 0BB interconnection with mm-scale cell-to-cell edge overlapping. It has dimensions of 2,382 × 1,134 × 28 mm.
DAH also displayed its latest HIGH POWER series module for Europe’s utility market. Measuring 2,465 × 1,303 × 33 mm, this module, with 156 half-cut cells, is rated for a maximum power output of 760 W and an efficiency of 23.66%. Among the product’s key features, the company highlighted its maximum operating system voltage of 2,000 V (DC), which is 33% higher than the conventional 1,500 V level. In addition, its creepage distance between the outermost cell edge (from the module’s cell layout) and frame edge (inside) is kept narrower than the IEC standards, which demand a higher barrier against moisture ingress. The company adopted dual-encapsulation films and applied a butyl sealant (PIB) along the module edges to address this need. It also features Full-Screen technology.
