DMEGC Solar’s Infinity G12RT-B66 module, with a maximum power rating of 655 W, has been certified by TÜV SÜD
It features CJ technology that employs butyl sealant across the edges of the laminate and frames
This module has also been tested for the DH2000 in-house extended stress test
DMEGC Solar, a China-based PV module maker, has obtained the latest IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certifications for the Infinity G12RT-B66 series module from TÜV SÜD.
The company uses a technology that employs a butyl sealant across the edges of the laminate of PV cells and metal frames, compared to the commonly used standard ‘mechanical joints’ with aluminum frames. Calling it Cemented Joint (CJ) technology, the company states that it works as an encapsulant, improving the mechanical strength and sealing performance of the module. The company’s press release, however, didn’t share any quantifiable data for these improvements.
This module, featuring 132 G12R TOPCon cells, offers a power output of up to 655 W. However, its recorded average production output is 635 W. Measuring 2,382 × 1,134 mm, it is promoted as suitable for both utility and rooftop PV installations.
While the latest certifications validate the new encapsulation design and ensure safety standards, the in-house damp heat test for up to 2,000 hours (DH2000) confirms the product’s resilience in hot and humid environments.
The Infinity G12RT-B66 series modules are in mass production and are commercially available.
In the October 2025 TaiyangNews TOP SOLAR MODULES List, the Infinity G12RT-B66 series module was ranked 5th among other peers (see TOP SOLAR MODULES Listing – October 2025).
