DMEGC Solar, a sister company of Hengdian Group, recently exhibited its latest addition in multiple product brochures at the SNEC 2024 event.

Speaking to TaiyangNews, the company showcased its latest large-size rectangular TOPCon cell-based (G12R) DMxxxG12RT-B66HSW series model. Marketed under the ‘Infinity RT’ brand, this series is high on design, power & efficiency, durability & reliability, stressed the manufacturer.

Design

As the name suggests, DMxxxG12RT-B66HSW series model has 132 (6 x 22) pieces of G12R size TOPCon half-cells matrix interconnected in a module dimension of 2,382 x 1,134 x 30 mm. It incorporates 16BB TOPCon cells interconnected via SMBB technology and is protected by 2 mm thick heat-treated glass on both surfaces, yielding 32.3 kg module weight. DMEGC has used light-reflection-film (LRF) between the cells to boost the absorption of incident light.

Power & efficiency

Its 132 pieces of half-cell configuration boasts a power output of up to 635 W and an efficiency of up to 23.5%. The company offers 6 different power classes ranging between 610 W to 635 W under the new ‘Infinity RT’ series module. DMEGC emphasized that its high output power can be attributed to high bifaciality of up to 85% and the additional reflected incident sunlight offered by the LRF film. Its low module temperature coefficient of -0.29%/℃ ensures additional power generation in high field temperatures.

Durability & reliability

The heat-strengthened double glass design of the module ensures long-term risk mitigation of humidity ingression inside the module lamination and high mechanical load carrying capacity. DMEGC said the module is tested with front mechanical load of up to 5,400 Pa, simulating maximum snow load carrying capacity.

On the other hand, the module is tested for up to 2,400 Pa rear side wind load. The model’s 15 years of product warranty and 30 years of performance warranty underscores high durability and reliability. DMEGC substantiated the new ‘Infinity RT’ series module’s enhanced reliability and durability by acquiring 3rd party certifications according to IEC TS 63209 (Extended-Stress), IEC 62716 (Ammonia Corrosion), IEC 61701 (Salt Mist Corrosion), IEC TS 63342 (LeTID), IEC 60068 (Dust & Sand).

This model with 620 W output is now available for the European market. By Q4 2024, the company is expected to commercialize the latest 635 W ‘Infinity RT’ model.
