Key Takeaways
  • EcoFlow has launched its TITAN Series for home backup and daily energy management, comprising 3 models

  • TITAN 5000 Plus provides 7.2 kW output, increasing to 10 kW with the company’s X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost

  • Paired with Smart Home Panel 10, TITAN 5000 Plus and TITAN 5000 can integrate with existing rooftop solar systems and support time-of-use energy management

Energy storage supplier EcoFlow has launched a new battery series for residential backup power and daily energy management. The lineup comprises TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN 5000, and TITAN 5000 Classic, with storage capacity expandable from 5 kWh to 30 kWh in 5 kWh increments.

The flagship TITAN 5000 Plus combines a 5 kWh battery with 7.2 kW output. According to EcoFlow, it can operate a 3-ton central air conditioner without a soft starter, alongside a refrigerator, television, and lights. For homes with solar systems, its X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost increases output to 10 kW.

EcoFlow says the series uses tabless lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells rated at 2C to provide high power output from the 5 kWh battery. It adds that a 200 V architecture and silicon carbide (SiC) components also help reduce current and thermal stress.

For integration with household electrical systems, TITAN 5000 Plus and TITAN 5000 can be paired with the company’s Smart Home Panel 10. The panel supports existing third-party rooftop solar systems without requiring replacement of the main electrical panel. The system prioritizes solar generation, stores surplus energy, and uses grid electricity when needed, the company adds.

The panel supports 50 A of whole-home current across 10 circuits. According to the company, the system switches to battery power in under 20 ms during an outage.

Beyond backup operation, TITAN 5000 Plus uses EcoFlow’s OASIS 3.0 energy management platform for forecast-based control of household energy use. Time-of-use automation through the EcoFlow App enables charging during lower-priced periods and discharging during peak pricing windows.

EcoFlow also supplies the panel with pre-assembled breakers and pre-wired cables to simplify installation. The company claims this preparation can cut on-site labor by up to 80%, requiring about 2 hours of on-site work.

The company says these products became available on its website on October 13, 2026. Indicative pricing for TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus is in the $3,000 range as standalone units and the $7,000 range with a panel and installation. TITAN 5000 Classic is priced between $2,000 and $5,000. EcoFlow plans to provide further pricing details on November 3.
