Gain Solar, a subsidiary of Yingli Solar and an expert in building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products, showcased the latest BIPV, solar floor, and colored solar tiles at Intersolar Europe 2024.

Speaking to TaiyangNews, the company highlighted the latest product offerings in the BIPV, Solar tiles, and Colored solar tiles category.

BIPV Module

The company displayed the JS350CB-96 series ‘Colored Glaze·Greenhouse’ crystalline silicon BIPV module. It emphasized that the transmittance of the module can be customized by adjusting the gap between cell strings. This latest module, featuring 96 half-cells in a 182 x 91 mm layout with a front transparent glass of 2 mm thickness, boasts a power output of up to 350 W and an efficiency of up to 24.8%. The application scenarios of the latest module are car parking, green buildings, or greenhouses. Using PVB material as the baseplate makes the module durable similar to building materials, added the company. The BIPV module, measuring 2,278 x 1,134 x 30 mm, can reduce building energy consumption by up to 11%, says Gain Solar. Primarily aimed at the European market, the company offers a 30-year standard linear power attenuation warranty for this commercially available module.

Solar floor tiles

The commercially available solar floor tiles solution from Gain Solar is applicable for laying colored or customized solar modules on the road or the floor. The company added that these solar floor tiles are rigid enough to withstand mechanical loads of up to 150 kg/m². This module’s color and lighting can be customized to client’s needs and are suitable for C&I scenarios and government-use applications.

Colored solar tiles

The company displayed multiple colored solar tiles at the show. These solar tiles have a wide array of architectural designs – wooden, brick, marble, and stone colors. The company offers a 30-year warranty on these solar tiles, equal to the lifetime of the building material.
