Key Takeaways
  • GCL SI showcased 5 application-specific PV modules based on TOPCon and BC technologies

  • The portfolio includes modules for C&I, utility, airport, desert, and offshore applications, with power ratings reaching 730 W

  • All showcased modules are commercially available globally, with 30-year performance warranties across the portfolio

GCL System Integration (GCL SI) showcased solar modules for various applications at SNEC 2026. Its display included products designed for utility-scale, desert, offshore, commercial and industrial (C&I), and airport and highway applications.

Notable among its showcases was the SIRO B module series based on its GPC 3.0 back-contact (BC) technology. Representing the series, the NR12R66GDF module delivers up to 670 W of power with a module efficiency of 24.8%. Built with 132 half-cells in a 2 mm dual-glass configuration, the module features 28-busbar cell interconnection and offers a bifaciality of 75±5%. Designed for utility-scale and C&I applications, the module is backed by a 15-year product warranty, which is 3 years longer than the company's TOPCon-based modules, and a 30-year performance warranty.

GCL SI also showcased its SIRO T Desert module, a bifacial double-glass TOPCon module designed for 2,000 V systems. A high-power module, NT12R/66GDF650-670 delivers up to 670 W, with an efficiency of 24.8% and 80±5% bifaciality. According to the company, the module features a steel-frame design that provides twice the tear resistance of conventional aluminum frames and withstands speeds of up to 60 m/s. The company also highlights its resistance to extreme heat, sand, and UV exposure for reliable operation under high-irradiance conditions.

For offshore applications, the company showcased its SIRO T Offshore PV module. Based on TOPCon technology, the module delivers up to 730 W with a module efficiency of 23.5%. The 132 half-cell module uses a composite-frame design and, according to the company, incorporates double-coated glass, high-water-resistance encapsulation materials and full-structure protection. GCL SI also states that the module has been tested for salt-spray resistance and other marine reliability requirements.

For C&I applications, GCL SI showcased its SIRO T Anti-dust module. Built with 132 half-cells in a 2 mm dual-glass configuration, the module offers 80±5% bifaciality. According to the company, the design combines high-density encapsulation and enhanced sealing to reduce dust accumulation and improve module durability.

The SIRO T Anti-glare module is targeted at installations near airports and highways. The TOPCon-based module delivers up to 635 W with a module efficiency of 23.51% and 80±5% bifaciality. Designed for applications where reflected light is a concern, the module incorporates an anti-glare design to reduce reflected sunlight while maintaining high energy yield.

According to GCL SI, all products showcased are commercially available for the global market. The company provides a 30-year performance warranty across the portfolio, while product warranties are 12 years for the TOPCon-based SIRO T series and 15 years for the BC module.
