Hoymiles’ plug-in range combines HiFlow microinverters with the 4.02 kWh HiBattery 4020 X and AC storage variants
The HiOne all-in-one system spans 3.6 kW to 20 kW and 8.04 kWh to 64.32 kWh
The display included 125 kW/261 kWh, 1 MW/2 MWh and 5 MW/10 MWh storage systems
Chinese microinverter and energy storage supplier Hoymiles presented products for applications ranging from plug-in household solar to utility-scale battery storage at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026 in Birmingham.
Plug-in solar systems of up to 800 W became legal to buy and use across Great Britain on August 27, 2026. These small systems, also known as balcony solar, can supply up to 800 W and give renters and apartment residents an option where rooftop installation is impractical (see Plug-In Solar Panels Become Legal Across Great Britain)
The company displayed its HiFlow and HiFlow Pro microinverters for this application. HiFlow includes a model with one maximum power point tracker (MPPT), while HiFlow Pro offers models with separate MPPTs for panels facing different directions.
“Plug-in solar gives more households a simple way to start using solar energy, but energy needs can change over time,” said Guy Rong, Vice President at Hoymiles.
For residential applications, the company showed its HiBattery 4020 series. Each unit has 4.02 kWh of capacity, and the system can be expanded to 16.08 kWh. The range includes an AC-coupled model for retrofit applications and a hybrid version with direct PV inputs. For homes with higher energy demand, Hoymiles presented HiOne, an all-in-one system that combines an inverter, battery and energy management system. The company lists single-phase models from 3.6 to 12 kW and three-phase models from 8 to 20 kW, with battery capacity ranging from 8.04 to 64.32 kWh. According to Hoymiles, pairing HiOne with HiBox and HiSwitch enables whole-home backup and switching to off-grid operation during a power cut.
For C&I sites, Hoymiles displayed the HoyUltra 128D, rated at 50 kW/128 kWh, and the HoyUltra 261A, rated at 125 kW/261 kWh. Both use liquid cooling for the battery and power conversion system. Hoymiles also showed the containerized HoyUltra 2000M, a 1 MW/2 MWh system designed to supply power for about 2 hours at its rated output.
Its utility-scale display included the HoyPrime 5 MW/10 MWh system, which also uses LFP batteries and liquid cooling. Hoymiles also presented the HoyPrime AC 6.261 MWh container. This system integrates batteries, a liquid-cooled power conversion system and controls in a prefabricated unit. According to the company, factory pre-commissioning reduces installation work at large storage projects, while rack-level battery management helps balance the state of charge across the system.
