Key Takeaways
  • HQ Mount displayed its aluminum-based solar carport structure at the event

  • The company also showcased its helical screw-based terrain-adaptive ground-mount solution

  • A solution for low-load-bearing flat roof installations was also on display

China-based HQ Mount was one of a few solar mounting structure providers that showcased their latest offerings during Intersolar Europe 2025. The company, specializing in aluminum and steel-based mounting solutions, featured its latest offerings at its booth, targeting diverse applications.

Carport Solution

Designed to cater to carport installations, the company’s aluminum-based solar carport system on display offers dual use of energy generation and vehicle shelter. The company didn’t share much about its technical specifications. However, its press release shows the aluminum structure is anodized for corrosion resistance. According to the press release, the product has also been tested for up to 3,000 hours of salt spray test, aimed at use in coastal regions with high salinity.

Ground Mount Solution

Based on the company’s statement, its ground mount system has a terrain-adaptive feature, suited for an undulating terrain installation. Its patented helical ground screw can be driven into the ground to serve as a base foundation of the module mounting structure (MMS). Its top bracket is engineered to adjust up to ±15° tilt from the horizontal position of the ground, making it flexible in undulating terrain. According to the company, this solution is also suitable for sand and frozen soil-based terrain.

Flat Roof System

For non-penetrating ballasted flat roof PV installations, HQ Mount displayed its product that supports up to 1.2 tons per point. The company says this product is designed to avoid damaging the waterproofing layer of the underlying roof.
