Key Takeaways
  • Huasun introduced its Himalaya PLUS HJT module series, compatible with 2,000 V systems

  • The flagship module delivers a power output of 760 W and an efficiency of 24.5%

  • The company also displayed antiglare, colored, and vertical installation modules for specific applications

Leading heterojunction (HJT) module manufacturer Huasun Energy introduced its Himalaya PLUS module series for the European market at Intersolar Europe 2026. The module is designed for 2,000 V utility-scale systems.

The Himalaya PLUS 2000V series delivers up to 760 W of power and reaches a maximum module efficiency of 24.5%. The bifacial dual-glass module is built with 132 G12 half-cut HJT cells. It features an upgraded zero busbar (0BB) architecture and a cell-to-cell overlapping design. The company also says the module incorporates upgraded encapsulation materials, including a proprietary butyl-based edge-sealing technology designed to meet the insulation requirements of 2,000 V systems.

The module measures 2,384 × 1,303 × 33 mm and weighs 37.8 kg. Covered by 2 mm on both sides, it offers a bifaciality of 90±5%. According to Huasun, the combination of these design features increases the module's active area ratio to 95.8%. Compatible with 2,000 V systems, the company says the module reduces balance-of-system (BOS) costs and levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) for utility-scale installations. The module is backed by a 15-year product warranty and 30-year linear performance warranty.

Alongside the Himalaya PLUS series, Huasun showcased its Everest G12R anti-glare HJT module, designed to reduce reflected light for installations in urban environments, airports, and other glare-sensitive locations.

Also part of the company’s display was its Kunlun G12-132 vertical-installation module, optimized for east-west and façade-mounted configurations. The 132-cell HJT module measures 2,384 × 1,303 mm and delivers up to 720 W with a module efficiency of 23.2%. According to Huasun, the steel-frame module is intended for community fences, commercial rooftops, and agrivoltaic projects, while its specialized bill of materials enables bifaciality close to 100%.

For aesthetically integrated PV installations, Huasun showcased its Everest G12R-96 colored HJT module designed for building-integrated PV (BIPV) and architecturally sensitive applications. The 96-cell HJT module measures 1,762 × 1,134 mm and delivers up to 410 W. It is available in multiple color options for BIPV projects.

Huasun's Himalaya series also features in the TaiyangNews TOP SOLAR MODULES listing with the HS-210-B132DS730W module, which is rated at 730 W and achieves a module efficiency of 23.5%. The company has also been recognized with the TaiyangNews TOP SOLAR MODULES 2025 Badge of Excellence for its consistent presence among the TOP 10 modules in the listing over the past 6 months.
